Half term holidays

Not that I'm counting or any thing..
But there's 12 more get-ups until mine!

I'm thinking of a weekend break in the UK
Can any one recommend a city/place/hotel that they think is unmissable?

Hi

I like Bath, good spas, shops and restaurants.

Harrogate is also lovely and perhaps you could meet up with summer for some retail therapy.

I am baby sitting at half term for 3 days, so McDonalds and 10 pin bowling for me.

Yes, Bath or Glastonbury or Wells. I would say Cheddar but we're cut off at the moment

I depends what you want Rhian, Snowdonia is spectacular if you want wide open spaces.

Come South!

Bath is good, lovely shops, Regency Tea Rooms, Roman Spa, Abbey... near to Cheddar Gorge, Cotswolds...

Dorchester is a lovely little town, easy reach of Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Brownsea Island, Longleat...

Re: Half term holidays

Come to York rhian, lots to see and do, plenty of restaurants, pubs, ect, I’d recommend going on a ghost walk around the city, if you fancied going further afield there’s the lovely North Yorkshire coastline Whitby especially with its rugged beauty..

I've been to York on day trips, it is lovely

And I've stayed in Whitby once before
I thought it was one of the most atmospheric places I've ever been to
No wonder Bram Stoker was inspired
I'd love to go back there
