Forced to buy a new electrical multi-tester. Last one went on the fritz and it was cheaper to buy a new one than get the old one repaired. Still need one for electrical work even though I'm semi-retired.

What sort of electrical work do you do? Power electronics was my field, variable speed drives mostly, and I still do some consultancy.

Last things bought were two books of stamps. One first class, one second class.

A pack of Haribo from the hospital shop. I only discovered these recently, they're mildly addictive.

I know the feeling. Similar story here. Started in the late sixties and retired a few years ago. The job did me some interesting places - up the jungle in Malaysia, the Sahara desert.
Today, we bought beer and wine.
