I would have thought Elton John would be higher after the Lewis ad.

All as expected. Looking at artists such as Billy Joel and The Eagles, it would be nice to have some new material. Surely they could offer their fans a new album? Joel hasn't recorded anything since 1993.

7. Jay-Z ($76.5 million)
10. Diddy ($64 million)

Not exactly 'musical' are they, except for Harris? Rappers are failed singers.

13. The Weekend ($57 million)
Not sure who The weekend are. A boy band perhaps?

15. Depeche Mode ($53 million)
Surprising.

16. Luke Bryan ($52 million, tie)
27. The Chainsmokers ($45.5 million, tie)
Never even heard of these two.

18. Jimmy Buffett ($51 million)
Blast from the past. Country music for the beach!

22. Jennifer Lopez ($47 million, tie)
Las vegas residency perhaps?

Same here PS, plus Waters, Joel, Eagles and a few others.
I can't say who deserves their money from that list. It's all personal taste really.

Coldplay, Macca and The Stones for me.

Coldplay's debut album Parachutes is a cracker.

Never invested in an Eagles album but had a couple of Joe Walsh solo albums pre-Eagles.

Never heard of quitr a few of those and number one Forbes? Who the heck is that, where have I been?

Apart from Bruno Mars, Elton John and Beyonce I.m not too bothered about any of them if I m honest but as Floydy says it's personal taste, some might say I have no taste but we can't all like the same artists

Interesting! And strange that I can't stand the top three. Also weird to see Depeche Mode above Gaga, Buffett and the Stones.

I thought that weird too. Depeche Mode doing so well somewhere in the world. But if we remember that the UK is a tiny market in comparison to other areas of the world, maybe they are 'big in Japan' or something!

And Jimmy Buffett Who's buying all his music?
