Any idea why those pictures don't show for me? I can cut and paste the link into my browser and they show but not in this thread.

Rat's, Tess?

Any droppings to help identify?

Just found this:

Will Rats eat plums?

Rats benefit from eating a variety of vegetables, fruits, and other fresh foods. ... Fruit: apples, cherries, grapes, bananas, strawberries and other berries, melons, plums. Vegetables: broccoli, potatoes, peas, carrot, cooked sweet potato, kale, parsley, bok choy, squash.

Bruce, I may have used Postimage instead of tinypics, sometimes folk can't see the photos, I'll have a look tomorrow and repost it for you.

I wondered if it was rats, the holes in the stones look very similar to the holes in hazelnuts that woodmice make so I hope it's mice not rats.

No, it was tinypics but it is OK I copied and pasted the links and saw the photos. I have no idea why it doesn't work in OFF. most of the time I can see photos posted via URL but on a couple of occasions I can't, it is not just your photos BTW.

Re: What's been living under my shed?

I've emailed my council for advice as plum stones contain cyanide, I don't want to create dust from their insides by shovelling them up, we could breathe it in! I'll keep pets off it too.
Also rat pee can give you Weil's disease.
