I have a very small lawn on two sides of the house for the dogs, surrounded by native plants, but the back is sand with a few native fountain grasses and a palm tree here and there.
If you don't have kids or pets, there should be a law that you use it on summer nights to lie out on a blanket and gaze at the stars.
Plastic grass is sad. That grass might be greener on the other side of the fence, but I think I'll pass.

I agree with you. And what about the smell of freshly mowed grass, and earthworms after a new rain? Tickling your bare feet on a summer's day? Yes, give me the real thing, it's worth the effort to keep it.
