Can a dame actually sit in House of Commons ? I thought it precluded them from doing so.

Re: Labour leadership race

When you look at the quality of the Labour front bench or indeed the entire memberership, nobody stands out as having the requisite qualities to provide the sort of leadership this country needs at the present time. We'll, maybe just one, Hilarity Benn. They all pale into insignificance compared to the talent available in the Conservatives.

As it's a pantomime they are perfectly acceptable, as is the back end of the horse.

Talent? Nope. Don't fancy any of them.

Well there's not much hope for the country then. We all might as well go out and cut our own throats. You're beginning to sound like Private Fraser. We're doomed laddie, we're doomed.

Re: Labour leadership race

Corbyn is an idiot !
I have always thought so and said so.
His King Canute act will cost him dearly, losing the respect of all the house all the party and all his constituents.
Doesn't matter who replaces him, as a political fighting force they are well and truly finished.

Re: Labour leadership race

The implosion of the labour party continues apace, it seems they all have tunnel vision and have forgot what they are supposed to represent.

If we had any opposition of note the Torys would have been history at the last election. But even though they too are imploding they will still survive this present divorce from the EU. And continue with their divisive political agenda in Britain.

I fear all this bitterness and disenfranchisement will continue to grow, until it explodes on the streets.
