With their higher rate of tax that the Irish working man has to pay to encourage firms like Apple and others to invest in their country with the tax breaks that the Irish give to these firms.
Think Ireland's Corporation tax is about 14% and I think Apple Pays less than 1% in Corp tax.
Apple employs 6000 people in Ireland that why the Irish Government is crapping then selves over this ruling.

The Irish are Appealing(well not to me the load of bog stompers)They are happy to take millions of Cameron and the EU to shore up their bankrupt economy but are appealing against a 13 billion tax windfall.
