Re: Meanwhile in Belfast

Honestly, the Scotland ruling of the court is a farce! English Judges ruled that it was NOT illegal for Boris to suspend Parliament, yet the Scottish court rules that it is.

Let's see what we know about the three Judges that are so confident they know better.

Lord Brodie - promotes strong relations between France and Scotland. He is head of the Franco-Scottish Society.

BOING!

Lord Carloway - was recommended for his position of Lord-President of the Court of Session by none other than Alex Salmond, former Leader of the SNP. Eight years ago he published a major report on the integration of Scottish Law with European human rights and EU law.
In 2017, he stated that Brexit was ''Likely to be a very onerous task''.

BOING!

Lord Drummond - Last September he sat alongside Lord Carloway to give a ruling in favour of Scottish politicians who wanted to give the judges of the EU Court of Justice a say over whether Article 50, Britain's formal declaration of Brexit, COULD BE REVOKED!

BOING!

Need I say more?

Scottish law is very much different to UK law, I have a feeling that these judges will have not just egg on their chin, but a bloody nose to go with it.

The scottish court was an appeal court. If you don't know what that implies for the ruling of the english judges, have a little google search.

Exactly Meg. And now the Turds are ratching it up to have another Referendum instead of a General Election. Their excuse? They don't think local issues should be mixed in with Brexit. Obviously this has come from the LimpDems who have seen where they are in the Polls compared to Boris.

Dutch papers did. https://www.nd.nl/nieuws/actueel/bui....3567960.lynkx
The ruling said the choice for a no deal brexit is a political one. In fact saying that parliament is still sovereign. Something brexiters have disputed in the referendum of 2016, but what remainers knew all along. Nice that you are now convinced too.
