My outdoor potted plant...

I love the way my little potted Acer is showing it's autumn colours.

It'll all be totally bare soon...

That’s beautiful Carol, amazing colours.

My Acer dropped all its leaves in the heavy storms last weekend.

I bung mine in the greenhouse over the winter, once it's shed it's leaves.

That's a lovely little tree, Carol. Nice shape and good colour, too.

I had one of the dark leaved ones once, but it was awful for getting scorched in the summer, does yours?

No mine doesn't get scorched. It's a really hardy little tree. I just leave it standing there all winter/summer - no problem.

The tortoise is ornamental. A Christmas present from last year.

Re: My outdoor potted plant...

Hi

My tender plants are now in the Polytunnel for Winter.

I am on heavy clay, so waterlogging is as important as temperature.
