Mornin' all .....
I'm back home now - surgery completed succesfully - dayshift recovery procedures inadequate - nightshift tried to put things right - new dayshift today were totally professional before discharging me so I feel happier and ready for a deep followed by a proper meal.
A full report, for those interested in such things, will follow later .....

I know exactly how that feels...covered in felt tip, all ready to go and then it happens yet again. You get home and feel stunned, almost like you've been mugged. Takes a couple of days to feel normal again...
My lumpectomy was cancelled 5 times and it was a case of 6th time lucky. I was told it was a record!
I too am waiting for a ig thingy (can't spell it always want to say iguana!) hernia repair, been putting it off for years but gp says I really should should get it done. No pain, just push it back when it comes out!
Did you know they can repair hernias with an epidural rather then a general anaesthetic? I'm going to ask about that...
