The same as they do in any country .
What part of this is difficult to understand ?
They do it all over Europe -we are the only country who doesn't collect the reciprocal payments all others do .

Tessa, the USA system is very different to the UK System.
You need to pre declare electronically, we do not have this.
We are stupid, we have just abolished Landing Cards, so do not even check where they are staying.
We do not routinely check financial status.
The USA have an electronic system to do that, we do.
We do not even check leavers against arrivals.
You can come here as a Tourist and then stay.
We do not check Leavers, others do.
An example.
A Polish woman was wanted here in the UK for a serious offence.
She got a Ryanair to Lodz, left the UK no problem.
The Polish checked her on arrival and returned her to the UK.
Our Border Security is an International Joke.

Muddy, we are very short of Doctors and Nurses.
I want their time spent on treating those who need it.
It is the system which is wrong.
It is the stupidly highly paid NHS Executives who are at fault.
They should have their pay cut if they do not recharge.
Blame the system, not those on the frontline.
