Re: Supreme Court nominee accused
Trump changes his tune with the weather.
He said, of Ford after Prof Ford's dramatic testimony to the Senate committee, when he said her testimony was "very compelling" and described her as a "very fine woman".
He described her as a "credible" and "compelling" witness.
Now he mocks her.
And yet, it is a well known fact that it is not unusual for victims of trauma to remember certain details vividly but have little recollection of other things that the brain may have accorded less significance to.
But re the FBI investigation...
1. They typically never look back as far as 36 years ago, when Prof Ford says the assault took place.
2. Lawyer Greg Rinckey told the Associated Press news agency that agents were normally looking for a "current problem", meaning any issue that has arisen in the past seven to 10 years.
3. Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker has stated that, according to FBI guidelines, investigators typically look back no further than 18 years.
Therefore their conclusions are foregone, the case will be dismissed imho.
A whitewash.
