The Liverpool Echo Arena has it's own parking for horse boxes and those people putting on shows, such as trailers and trucks with all the equipment in them. Same as any concert arena does.

Name these "levels" I am so wrong about Primus.
Erm it was a joke, like crime in multi-storey car parks, wrong on so many levels

Could have something to do with spotting the couple who live next door outside at midnight. Me and Mrs Floydy went out with a bottle of Famous Grouse and soon all the other neighbours came outside as well.
We all stood around getting steadily sloshed for a couple of hours. We hardly ever speak all year!
I was a tad grumpy this morning lol☺

ITV News report 120 horses rescued from the lower level of the car park at the time of the fire and undamaged riding kit retrieved from the lower level today.

Re: Liverpool car park fire

I was relieved to see the dogs rescued unharmed from the cars in the top storeys and just hope there weren't others trapped elsewhere.

Re: Liverpool car park fire

We have a family friend who's vehicle and trailer are in the undamaged lower floor of the car park but he cannot retrieve them because of the building being structurally unsafe. Nor can he get back into his hotel, which is cordoned off. He was allowed to get his belongings from his room and then escorted out.

Re: Liverpool car park fire

Two dogs rescued from second floor and four dogs from seventh floor.

Was it luck that there were no dogs in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th floors?

A £30,000 1960s classic Ford mustang was destroyed in this fire

Maybe that one would not be insured ?

I still can't see the relevance of assuming there could be uninsured vehicles . Most people who attend such events don't need to avoid paying insurance, unless of course the comment was directed at Liverpool people and general consensus that everyone in Liverpool is a crook ?

Re: Liverpool car park fire

My sister in law and my niece were there the day before the fire and had a horsebox parked there. I wonder how it started? seems very peculiar.
