Ladies, as a nice Christmas gesture, perhaps we should allow the men to join us today.
Unless the world ends tonight there is no chance of them being last to post..as we will all be here tomorrow.
Another reason is that their families have requested we do this, in the hope that they won't drink all the alcohol & eat all the goodies at home.

Good morning Twink and Tabby.
I see us ladies are on the ball as usual, while I can still hear those lazy men snoring from here. One from the North and one from the South, so there is one rattling me brains in each ear.
Twink, I can understand their relatives trying to get shot of them for the day, but do we really have to have them here? If the other ladies really want to, I will go along with it to keep the peace, but I'd sooner pack 'em off elsewhere given the chance.
We'll just have to insist they do the washing up, and stay relatively sober.
