Good gracious if he’s not steady at 70 he never will be !
I think that the Queen mother was a bad influence on Charles .
She was the most spoilt ghastly woman on the planet and was stuck in the 1930s when a prince having a mistress was ok ( except for her prince of course )
Why do you think she was great !
What was she supposed to have saved Charles from ?

Re: The Prince Andrew interview

Well Muddy , she helped get George over his stammer[bought about by his Dad who was a total bully ] by enrolling him with some voice coach to improve his speech , if you can see some of his early speeches when he first became King ,it was just so painful for all concerned.
I believe I have explained earlier , you may notice that later Royals don"t go on trips & leave their offspring behind . Which is probably quite traumatic for them ,so I believe that she was a stabilising influence for him . Plus don"t forget that Phil was a bully also ,he sent the the lad to Gordonston [against the Queens wishes]which was totally unsuitable for him as he was a shy sensitive child .

Re: The Prince Andrew interview

But Charles didn’t stammer and although his parents left home with his grandmother it’s wasn’t as if the queen was a hands on mother .
They were always cared for by nannies .
Probably one of the reasons they are so spollt and petulant .
They always have had flunkeys telling them they are something special .

Re: The Prince Andrew interview

I didn"t say Charles stammered !
Since the Advent of Diana the offspring have gone on trips with the parents.
Wlliam & Kate do it as indeed Harry & Meghan do .
Modern way TBH

I can't understand all the fuss about Wills and Harry not spending Christmas dinner with their granny. For God's sake they're grown men and have lives of their own now.

It's funny how we accept gays, transexuals, transvestites, and most other sexual oddities, freaks and deviants, but fail to accept and be tolerant towards the royal family just because they have more money than us and are posh....

Re: The Prince Andrew interview

Apologies for this.

The lack of an additional 'quote' in the quoted posts made my post illogical.

I corrected it below, and I deleted the erroneous version.
