Actually, I hadn't noticed but now you mention it...
don't tell me they've given up.
Perhaps they feel sure that we'll end up with Boris's BRINO deal which, of course, is exactly what they have been hoping for all these years!

Seems iceland is building it's own supertrawlers. I hope the UK will be able to stop them

So are you saying there is going to be some sort of Icelandic super trawler invasion into UK territorial waters after Brexit ?
Iceland is famous for going bankrupt.

Why are you posting stuff thats nearly 2 years old ?
When the UK reclaims its territorial waters back from the parasites in the EU, we control what quotas we allocate and the entire fishing policy.
I don't really know what your point is ...

Yes we will, but we will still be importing most of the fish we eat .
We have a preference for cod and haddock which we will continue to import.
We are not great eaters of the most common pelagic fish.

Cod by the pound is more expensive than a lot of steak. The reason we import so much is that we do not have the species quotas.
