I understand perfectly. It seems that you do not.
JLR, an Indian owned company was looking to build a car plant in
MEXICO. The Slovakian offered a state aid package funded by Slovakia to build the new plant in Slovakia instead of
MEXICO.
There was no relocation of an existing or closed down plant so the Slovakian State Aid met the EU governance requirements
No EU money was used and no relocation from the UK occurred as it was a new plant required as part of JLR’s expansion programme that was never planned to be in the UK
