Don't you ever get fed up of criticizing what Britain is doing, after all it is unlikely that you will ever live here! Why not spend your time advising your own country, because we don't need your help!

Oh this is ridiculous.
I'm out..wish I'd never begun the damn thread, but at least there were a few good pages before the rot set in.

Unlike advanced democracies like the UK
The ancient greeks had referenda, and look how they are doing now. The UK paid for their rescue.

My experience is that you have to hit brexiteers hard between the eyes with facts. Tiny chance it seeps in. Their ears are closed for any fact.

Have you ever considered the possibility that they [the brexiters]might be right Solasch?

lol

I frequent many forums but I don't think there's a more embittered frustrated EU stooge like yourself.

As Bread has neatly pointed out, YOU aren't allowed to even have a referendum in your country. Yet here you are suggesting Britain is the poor relation.

Your envy is palpable.

We will be free of the corrupt EU oligarchy.

You will remain shackled to it indefinitely and once the UK is out, you can most assuredly expect the treaty rules to change to make it nigh on impossible for anyone else to leave.

Sorry Solasch old bean but in terms of BrExit you're just gonna have to suck it up.

As you are quite aware of, we abolished referenda. Mainly because the outcome rarely gave a decisive answer, where upon the government still had to make their own choice.
Secondly because most issues are too complex to answer in a simple yes or no. Point in fact, brexit referendum.

The facts only say otherwise by your interpretation Solasch..
If it was as black and white as you suggest the decision would have been over and done with two years ago..

And again you are wholly wrong.

The referendum wasn't about "BrExit"

It was an extremely simply choice.

Do we want to Remain in the EU or Leave the EU.

It really couldn't be simpler.

The logistics to effect a Leave may be complicated but that wasn't what the referendum asked.

We were asked if we still wanted to be a part of the EU.

The UK said

NO !

Bravo !
