TV media reports

Most TV media reports about the sorry state of affairs in Mays
BREXIT negotiations are stating that the so called hard BREXIT Tory
MP' s are blocking her so called deal with the EU.
This is totally untrue.
At least two thirds of the hoc voted her deal down.
The erg are in a huge minority and don't stand achance of blocking
anything.
Why do things get reported in this way?
Best regards. Donkeyman.

Hi

The media here in the UK is split and very biased Donkeyman.

Even if Theresa May got the rest of the MPs to change , she would still not get her deal through.

The sums are the same.

Corbyn and Labour would vote against it, he is playing Political games.

Even with the Labour rebels voting for it, the ERG hold the balance of power.

There is enough of the hardcore ERG who will never vote for her deal to stop it.

I have a problem in that I believe a No Deal would be very damaging, I cannot however support Theresa Mays so called deal.

It is not a deal at at all, it is paying a mint to delay things for 2 years to hope to get a deal.

It would lead to the breakup of the UK.

I simply cannot support it, at all.

The EU would have us over a barrel, demanding access to our fisheries etc.

My reason for voting leave was about Sovereignty, I always knew it was going to hurt.

Because of the stupidity of our Politicians, it is going to hurt far more than it needed to.

This is about far more than money, it is about a principle.

The ordinary people voted leave, we have to, we simply cannot allow democracy to be overturned by the political elite.

If we do not leave there is simply no point in any of us voting for anything again.

We would be putting the clock back to before Magna Carta.

This is so, so, wrong.

I am not a slave, we are long past the state of being ruled by the Elite, my vote and yours is just as valuable and equal to the vote of the Elite.

We have to leave.

Re: TV media reports

Unfortunately, The Media are major players of "The Establishment", run by a rich elite who continue with the pretense of impartiality when it comes to Brexit.

However, sadly for them, the people are no longer the ignorant, gullible inconvenience the media were able to fool and put up with, as long as they kept quiet and things carried on smoothly as they wanted.

But, Hello!, Social Media came along, people quickly learned that they were being taken for fools by the elite establishment. It hasn't taken long for the public to realise just how biased TV, Radio and newspapers (barring one or two) have been, with their blatant and biased backing of everything pertaining to the EU and the establishment.
After all, they have so much vested interest in remaining in the EU as it is from they, that they receive so much financial reward for their continued promotion.

Unfortunately, The largest problem in the UK is that the corrupt are policed by the corrupt, and there is no solution.

EU broadcasting rights is probably a big factor in why the media (esp TV) are biased towards remain.

More of the blinkered mindset from little englander media remainers.

Certainly, the only two newspapers that agree with adhering to the democratic decision of the British people to LEAVE the EU.

The Sun Newspaper
The Daily Express.

Re: TV media reports

I thank both swimmy& SG for their answers to the question l asked
at the beginning of this thread.
First, swimmy,. I think you have resolved the confusion l was
experiencing with your previous posts ie. who's side you are on.
I am now convinced you are ok.
However, l think you should not stress the negatives of leaving
so much , although they are real, and rather point out the positives
a bit more.
I also believe we shall have problems after a no deal exit but it will
eventually be worth it.
I also believe leaving in this manner will open the door to much
needed social reform in UK.especially after recent events.

Now SG, from reading your previous posts l find myself in complete
sync. with your viewpoint and l always enjoy reading your posts.
Best regards to both. Donkeyman.

Apply the democratic principle? Majority is right. When most papers say leaving the EU is detrimental, that is the truth?
