Re: Theresa arrives in Brussels

How will it be any different next time and why would the MPs suddenly decide to change their minds?
Blackmail? Bribery? A place on the honours list?
Politics is always corrupt.

Re: Theresa arrives in Brussels

Just 1. 5 hrs after her arrival, looking at the body language of
the Mafia it looks as if they believe her deal is a done deal.
I don't think this is the case yet, they have. not yet understood the
amount of stupidity& deviousness inherent in our present crop
of MPs.They are so irrational&self serving nothing can be certain
yet.And the remain voters are so cowed by project fear they
may yet succeed in overturning A50,with the consequences that will
surely bring.l still believe no deal is the correct choice, but due to all
above, for the sake of our sanity& peace her deal will suffice
for now. When or if it all settles down and we have a BREXIT pm
we must work to cut down on our EU imports to balance our huge
trade deficit with EU, we must insist on getting our fisheries back
in order to revitalise our moribund coastal areas, thus enriching
the whole UK,these measures are just the start.
But we must not get ahead of ourselves, we still have to traverse
the irrationality of our remainer MPs first and remainer citizens
second
Yours in hope Donkey man

Don't worry Tessa as l said recently,l believe TM has stitched it all
up already with EU &others. She is relying on the cowardly side
of hoc to change their stance, and judging by their recent behaviour
I think it's a good bet, and vote her deal in due to fear of no deal.
It depends if corbyn's pique is less than his fear of no deal.
I. think it is.
Best Regards. Donkeyman.

Better each nation state pulls-up their little drawbridges and starts planning Word War III?

Memories are short - the whole idea of co-operation in Europe was borne out of the horrors of 2 world wars, after rampant nationalism had done its dirty work. No wonder some of the most vociferous opponents of the EU are the nutty neo-Nazi / Fascist outfits polluting the continent.

A little co-operation goes a long way!

Extension till may 22, provided the HoC accepts the deal next week. Otherwise the extension ends april 12, and a no deal brexit is a fact.
