Thinking of my own family, what happens when you trust, you communicate and you respect but there is none returned?
We always need a relationship to be 2 way or one carries the other.

Yep, trust and mutual respect are essential. Which is why I have no meaningful relationship with my sister.
Who also pretends she is something which she is not, as someone else mentioned on this thread.

Very true SoulDJ - I think we've all experienced life's leeches and it isn't a pleasant experience is it.
