Beaten by Norway again!
According to the United Nations Human Development Index (HDI) - 2012 Rankings Norway is the best developed country in the world.The data used to create these indices are shown in this diagram:
What does Norway do so well? They must have a very comprehensive welfare and/or education system. (on the bright side Australians have a longer life expectancy than Norwegians
)The UK is 26th on the list, I was surprised to see countries like Ireland at #7 I thought the current economic crisis might badly affect countries like Ireland but it appears not.
