I've been in a Sami Yurt(wigwam) in Norway. They are distantly related to the N American Indians

Re: Bucket List

Fab wants from some of you. Some are very realistic. Wanting to swim is
a good one. They do beginners no matter what age you are at the swimming baths around England.
I saw the Northern lights when I lived in Leeds. Sometimes they come right
down the sky to the North of England and are well seen in Scotland so if you have no wish to travel far you can see them by going North.
I always loved going to the 6d rush to the pictures when I was a kid.
My favourites were Roy Rogers and Gene Autry as I loved their horses
Trigger and Champion. I would have liked to go to the Roy Rogers
Museum in the USA BUT they have now closed the Museum. So
if you have a bucket list you sometime have to go whilst you can
as waiting for a rainey day sometimes doesn't work out.
Luckily I do have other wants before I go to the great disco
in the sky.

Re: Bucket List

I dont have a bucket list, i would be long gone before i had completed it. Far too many things to see and do, so little time.

I saw the Aurora Borealis in the 60`s in Northumberland, and have missed a couple of chances in the last decade close to home.

Re: Bucket List

Re the Northern lights , they can be seen in the UK quite often ...

A couple of years ago about this time of year on a clear and frosty night I went out really late to post a letter and saw a pale version of them. It was a special sight none the less

Re: Bucket List

There was a good display of the Aurora last night, as far South as Norfolk, i of course missed it, very annoying as it showed well at my local patch St Marys Island, some photos on the Daily Mail website today.

Any one see them as its on a few bucket lists ?.
