I feel awful reading about the price of your glasses. I got some reading glasses from something like Specsavers and they cost me £75 for 2 pairs.My bingo and PC glasses I buy from Wilkinsons for £2.99 to £5.99 and have about 20 pairs of those. I don't need them for walking around just concentrating on things like a screen.

I'm not too clued up on opticians prescriptions but do you take your prescription with you, just like your doctors one, so that you can get it filled anywhere?
My optician charges around £200 for my varifocal lenses.
Surely the lenses are the most expensive part .. it is a specialist job.
