UJ, I just have two buses to get to the pickup, near me. One is just across the road, that takes me to other side of road where I get second bus. Short journey, and where the pickup point is, is again just across the road when I get off the second bus. I took the car this afternoon and did a recce.The driver puts the cases in the hold, and I am now >6 weeks from surgery. I won't have a free hand for a walking stick, and am walking ok (short distances). I plan to take it very easy next week.
And I am taking a small pull along case. Nothing like the size I normally take, because I have scaled down. I might even get a cab there!

We've been to Valencia twice, once to the Las Fallas Museum so we'd love to see the real thing! stevmk2
