Morning! It's Monday
Morning Mags (the only other member currently logged on) Hi everyone.Monday morning again (back to the thread about time passing!) and I've been very traditional and done battle with the duvet and got the bedclothes in washing. There's sufficient breeze to dry them later but no sun as yet. As we siad elsewhere, the season is passing and the days are taking longer to 'wake up' and darkness falls earlier and earlier each evening. Ho hum.
I'll take the dog out very shortly, then back to do a bit of vacuuming and some Wii-fit movement. I expect it will tell me off if I've put on a pound over the weekend
Don't know about anyone else but I don't find it motivating at all to be told I'm obese when I wear size 12 as I've always done. It uses purely height/weight ratio to give a BMI figure, which may be relevant in some cases but definitely not for others. Using BMI all the players in the England rugby team are obese - anyone fancy telling them? Whinge whinge!

I love Mondays when people go back to work but thankfully I am not among them
After a year of retirement I still haven't got over that little thrill of excitement knowing the whole day belongs to me and I can do as I please .
Off to catch up on some gardening while it is fine and to freeze some runner beans.

Afternoon all. sun just coming up...Hubby back at work, so have a day too myself..........lovely!!!! got some washing/ironing, and hoovering to do, after which going to take myself for a walk...Have a good one everyone...CD....sounds like you have having a good day!!

I am so looking forward to retirement. My employer announced they were shutting down by October of 2009 but then they started selling the processors we make here at Intel Corp so they extended our life another 6 months. I'll bet I'm the only one of the 1,000 folks that work in my fab that wishes we'd shut down tomorrow. Selfish of me so I won't mention that wish aloud.I work 12 hour days and am off Sunday, Monday & Tuesday of each week. I love watching everyone drudge off to work on Monday. I make all my doctor's appointments on Monday or Tuesday. No crowds.
