I am sure it isn't Muddy, but if punishments are not harsh enough aren't we encouraging other militant groups to follow their example?

Re: Crash outside Parliament Square

Only a few weeks ago. I was walking down there and didn’t feel any fear at all. One of my daughters was running in a 10k run in that area.
It doesn’t bear thinking about.

I hope those injured today, make a good, speedy recovery.

Re: Crash outside Parliament Square

I was watching TV when it happened the police and armed security were on the ball they were there so quickly and no messing either . I text my son in law who works in the area to see if he was ok , he'd seen and heard the commotion while in his office .

At least the terrorist is alive and we may get info out of him .....pity we don't use torture

Must have been a nightmare around there today. The area is still closed off.

Personally I don't care if it is a terrorist or a dimwit, because they both deserve the same punishment for attacking innocent people.

The reason we can't punish, as harshly as we would like, is because the prisons can't cope with the amount of crime committed, so all the more reason to hang somebody who takes a life..... leaving more prison space to accommodate the other evil people in society!

Along with shorter sentence including hard labour and floggings. In days of old on RN ships this was used simply because ships don't have prisons.
