I bet it tastes a lot better too.

Re: Pizza Prices are insane

The guy in the flat next door to me lives on pizza. Usually about 9 or 10 at night, a delivery from Papa Johns, come a calling. I can tell that's the name, from the amount of pizza boxes in our recycling bin. God knows how he can afford it, as the bugger does'nt work! My pizza tastes are rather more modest, this one below for about £3, or £2 if on offer. Not bad at all!!

Yes, it is a lot of money but you're not just buying a couple of pizzas.

What you're also buying, or at least paying for includes franchise fees, outlet rent, rates, utilities, insurances, outlet maintenance, wages and other employment costs, raw materials a percentage of which will have to be scrapped, sales packing, the necessary ROI for capital items, and a wage for the outlet owner to live on

I've possibly missed a few, but that lot needs to be covered from the sale of a helluva lot of pizza!

Pizza is like Curry, it has to be fresh and authentic, supermarket versions of either just don't cut it.

£20.00 to feed 3 people, delivered to the door, a bargain.

Re: Pizza Prices are insane

I recently went to a family event where they decided to order pizzas from Papa Johns. I was so shocked at the prices on the menu. I have to say though that it was much nicer than any supermarket pizza I have had.

Morrisons fresh pizzas are the best £4 each and they are big enough for 4 people. Or cheaper still make your own comes in at about £1.50 each we find and again feed 4.

Take away pizzas aren't even very nice !
