What a win – no problems ever for these two!

What a win that is, good luck to them they are only a young couple so have their lives made I guess.

However, not all Lottery winners go on to have great, untroubled lives though as many have gone broke and had other problems.

Some previous winners are shown on the link below that makes interesting reading:

Would a win on the Lottery change your life and if so how?

Yes, it would definitely change my life and those of our tenants too. Without the need of rental income to rely on for all the extras in our retirement, we agreed some time ago that we would pass the freeholds over and pay off all of our children's mortgages before moving ourselves to a very comfortable self-build bungalow on land yet to be found and purchased. Then anything left over would take care of future maintenance costs and buy the extras we have become accustomed to

I won £2. on a scratch card yesterday, but I won't let it change my life.

Just seen the news, they are giving up work afiik, and I think they are sorting their friends and family out financially, good for them
If I won that amount it would concern me about the begging letters,, but I’d still keep sending them...

If I won £105M, I wouldn't tell anyone, I certainly wouldn't appear in the media although I'm sure Camelot would try to bludgen me into going public. I'm not going to worry about that just yet though.

£5M is enough.

£105M is plain silly. And I'm not impressed.

Mind boggling. That is $A200 million almost. It's total chance so I guess all we can say is they are extremely lucky. BUt yes I agree. Although many people are ten times that rich and more, nobody on Earth needs that much money. I wonder how much of it they will give away to worthy causes?
