Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Just thought I would visit the Land of Song and see how you all are? Am planning a trip to Conwy in the Autumn. I have an artist friend who lives there.

Dismal day-weather and mood wise.

Hi Silver Tabby, hope you enjoy your visit to N. Wales. Fingers crossed you have good weather.

Rhosyn - I did realise that - after I posted.

Have done absolutely nothing today, apart from putting the bins out!.

Well at least it's been dry today, but so cold when we went out this morning. I was awake at 4.30 am, drinking tea at 6 and will probably be back in bed by 9.30 this evening..... Had the heating on last night and just wondering whether to go and put it on now. "Flaming June" Huh!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Went over to visit youngest son this morning before the rain started. He's taking the roof off his bungalow and making it into a house. Think he may have picked the wrong week for the weather. While I was there a lorry arrived with the felt and tiles so I have no idea where they are going to park cars for a while as the drive is full! Before I got back home it started raining and has only stopped about a half hour ago.

Middle son has had his stitches out and is going back to Abergavenny next Tuesday for a check. As long as there's no infection should be OK, though I imagine he'll need some physio to rebuild the muscle.
