I think the pretty Laburnum trees are poisonous to dogs too, all parts are, even the bark!

I also wanted a Daphne shrub for the lovely fragrant flowers, until I read all parts of that are toxic too.

So many things are, I always check before I buy now, but we can still come unstuck so easily.
For example, last year when Gertie was still only a puppy, I had to get her 'out of hours' veterinary treatment because she dug up, chewed and swallowed a daffodil bulb and a hyacinthy bulb.
She had to have injections to make her vomit quickly.
