Re: a little rain and thousands of slugs

I used to take them to the local park and set them free, but it was too much effort in the heat. Dread thinking how many there are today. Puts you right off your breakfast.

Hi

I was on sand, new house has very clayey soil.

With the rain there are loads of huge slugs all over the place.

The sooner I get my ducks installed the better, they love them.

We had them. We put lettuce down which they like. We collected the slug covered lettuce leaves and move it to some shrubbery in a field nearby. I'm a softie for any kind of life.

I hope there's some in my garden, the hedgehog is still active, I keep finding poo, I can't find out where he's hiding either, little devil should be hibernating.

Can you imagine in three month's time, 'These mushrooms need using up.'

To be honest, I can't say I've ever tried them.

I believe that the Frogs eat them, though...
or is that snails?

Same thing really except the French snails wallpaper the ceiling inside the shell.
