We have the choice of several all very near. You can hear the ocean some quiet nights and always when it's rough. The nearest being Dunnet Beach.

Re: Any "Hutters" on here ?

I have friends in Devon who own a beach hut....I wondered why because they live within walking distance of the beach but honest it's really cool...they go down to it and it's become a meeting place for all their pals on good days....they all bring food and drink and just sit around and chat.

There is also a great camaraderie with other hut owners....I was surprised how much fun they are.

Re: Any "Hutters" on here ?

Those huts are very expensive to hire or buy. I have often thought of building and painting one in my garden, then one night, driving it down to the beach and just sticking it on the end of the row. Hopefully no one will notice.
