I never did Art !Nor did my family my Dad only ever grew runner beans and other veg in the back garden .
They never discussed politics when we were small .
Actually the poor man was never home much he was always doing overtime .
As he got older he was concerned about illegal immigration and would rant on about people coming in in the backs of lorries .
We all posh poohed his concerns .
He was right my Dad.

I learned years ago, never to worry about things, until they happen.

I stay out of politics - partly because it bores the pants off me, partly because the whole lot of the current government are so corrupt they are not worthy of discussion.
There are a few others - general ones - where I know my comments are not always welcome. Whether or not I still contribute to them depends on how deeply I feel about the topic. Some times it is worth the risk of being thought confrontational just to make a point - others it is not.
