Good morning all, a bright start here and forecast to be a scorcher later...

No major tasks planned, just my Mum's lawns to cut this morning then I'm hoping to spend a couple of hours in a shady spot this afternoon with a cold beer and a new whodunnit...

Due to hit 82f here today - with thunder storms following later - I might have to hibernate in the freezer!

Morning all

Today, like Swimmy, I will be out in the garden. On what is forecast the hottest day of the year so far I will be taking up my stepdaughter's decking. What's more, it's a huge area and there is also another level of decking underneath the existing one to remove. To make it even more special an event, there are rats under there too apparently. Nice.
Starting early, I'll be armed with a crowbar, a big hammer and an electric saw. Tons of fun, eh?

Good morning all summer is definitely here with scorching temperatures today, don’t forget to top up the sunscreen.

It will be a relaxing day for me, just doing anything that is necessary.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!

This morning it’s misty here and looking very much like the start of a very warm day. The forecast is for a dry day with unbroken sunshine and a maximum temperature of 35ºC.

Various tasks to undertake today, all depending very much on the heat and humidity though. Too humid and I will feel drained of energy – time will tell!

Is it saturday already? being retired one day is as much the same as another.

If your still at work then yes weekends do give a break but being retired ****

Not seen any butterflies this year so far in the garden, even the Buddleia has not attracted them , nor the cabbage white butterfly that usually are around the veg plants
