My hands are so damaged now i struggle to tie my laces, so i think i will have to look towards velcro, slip on shoes.
Nom you can get elastic self tie ones. My trainers I was struggling to tie I put a pair in and they would pretty well turns them into slip ons. You can get them in all colours. It's cheaper than buying new shoes.

Yes Julie when i was trying to locate a button hook i saw them but they were very thin so i cold not feel when i was holding them. Just nerve damage so it wont repair.

I got my husband to put mine in, is there anyone could do yours for you, takes but a minute. I'd volunteer him for the job but I have a feeling we aren't close enough to just pop round.

Nom once they are in you don't need to fasten them as such, mine are permanently just twisted together, it's rare I have to retwist them as they stay so well.
