The indignity of growing old is to be feared in many ways ?I pity an elderly man using the same public transport as myself who stunk of dried wee when he rose to leave the bus . The smell lingered even after he’d alighted, I daresay from his unwashed trousers .
Old folks cannot help being incontinent but I do hope if I ever got to that stage I’d be able to still wash my clothes .
