Bring back Crossroads I say!Can't stand soaps as a rule but I was a bit of a closet fan of the above. Let's take a trip down memory lane via some reruns and remember some of the characters from Crossroads Motel and the good folks of Kings Oak.
Phew! I feel so much better for getting that off my chest. I might even wear my Benny hat for clapping this evening.

She hasn’t been on it for 40 years .
I never watched it after I left home at 19 my mother ( who hailed from Lancashire) watched it to the day she died .

Maybe though they didn't have the advantage of a good upbringing that taught them to always 'save something for a rainy day'. That's what I was taught and it's seen me manage to get out of trouble in the past. One time being out of work for two years in the recession of the mid- to late-1990s those savings helped me get through that.

Yes, Westender, the best one was Amy Turtle who kept fluffing her lines and there were long pauses until she remembered her words!
