Thing is...if and when you report it, you have no way of knowing if you're genuinely helping, or whether yours is the twentieth report and is a pain!

You should always report spamming .... except when every inch of the first four or more of the 'new post' pages are completely covered by the very same post then it is most unlikely that it would be necessary to alert even the blindnest moderator that the forum has been compromised, because they would already know just by looking at the forum as soon as they logged on.
