I hope Azz can write a bit of code to make the registration process more spam-proof, whilst not puting off genuine new members.

Who'd run a forum? Or be a Mod?

We have certain things in place to stop 'spambots' but I am afraid new 'bots' may keep arriving today, we will get to them when we can

It's just one of those things that happens now and again and are soon rectified by a man who can!

Do you think that our excellent mods and admin could have missed seeing their forum covered in spam ?
Do you think if it had not been for you reporting it that it would have gone unnoticed ?
What would we do without your eagle eyes and your finger on the pulse ?

Just to point out the forum has not been 'hacked' Carol it is spammers .
