Re: What kind of arts n crafts are you into?

I love your picture Claire and your embroidery DM, and especially those lovely tree ornaments. This forum is so good, I've just met Claire and discovered what a talent she has and I've "known" dandysmom for a year or so and never knew how wonderful her needlework was.

I have started this evening knitting a little mouse to Liz's pattern, DM. I am going to have to adapt it a bit as I've got different yarn, but hopefully it will be OK. I'll post a picture if and when it's finished! It's a pretty little grey mouse. Wonder if it will be ready for my new arrival next week!!!

Oh I do want to see the new mouse when you finish it; that's a great pattern. Leia loves auntie Liz' blue mouse to bits...well, not literally as it's quite sturdy. Thanks for the kind remarks; we are learning a bit more about one another here since chit chat is encouraged! I'm loving this forum and meeting so many nice new people.

Woodworking used to be a passion. I'd build furniture, cabinets, spice racks, medicine cabinets & light fixtures for my bathroom, paper towel dispencers, and magazine racks for the bathroom resembling a park bench. Below that bench was a crank for dispencing toilet paper. LOL

Yes, I got confused with map making and that's cartography, . . . groan, another blonde moment.
