"No pressure" . . . is one another one that's over-used.

One another one is double Dutch, Mupsy.

When you suspect someone of being an idiot, count how many times they say 'basically' when talking.
So, basically, at the end of the day, when all's said and done, basically, my vocabulary is really really basic.

Re: "Give it up for"............

Correct English grammar is that the word "an" should precede a silent "h" as in, an honor, an hour, but an aspirated h such as hospital should be preceded with "a" e.g a hospital or a horror, etc. Don't put yer haitches where there HARN'T none! Or, when followed by an abbreciation such as a miniature circuit board spelled out in full, it would be an MCB, not a MCB. This is the mystery of the English language.

Anyway, beside the point. Dermot O'Leary does my head in on X-Factor. He growls all the time, ALWAYS kicks a leg out, does a finger spin then he growls out a "give it up for ....."

Grrrr! I can't abide him.

Whatever
A coffee, instead of a cup of coffee (lazy speech)
An over frequently used word - basically
At the end of the day - grrrrr
Thinking "out of the box"
Ticks all the boxes
See ya (on the phone from someone you've never met)
Have a nice day - yuuuuuukkkky

Well, you did ask!

Basically, I wouldn't dream of accusing anyone of being an idiot, especially your good self Mr. P.

Re: "Give it up for"............

You are basically a nice person Mupsy, you know? Sort off.
I am nowhere near as nice. I have even called myself an idiot in the past, not just other idiots.
