Good morning ladies, another wet day here. Haven't been doing much except going to the shops for what I need. Will pop out later to the butchers for something for dinner.

scottish gov are to delay the legislation of interlinked smoke alarms till 2022, so many people have been complaining that the first they heard of it was recently when a leaflet came through their door, giving us only 3 months to get them installed.

Evening, Dry most of the day so buzzing in n out doing catch up jobs. Can't seem to get out of the bit just now, most annoying as I'm working most of the day and see little for the efforts.

Afternoon, Dry again today so got the washing out as I'm not going anywhere. Saw this bit of News on the BBC Website, this is not going to go down well at all. I think lots of families will just ignore it.....what do you think?

Good afternoon. I for one don't want a digital Christmas, I'd like to be with my niece and family at Christmas. Also I think a lot of people will ignore it and meet up as usual. Dry here with some sunshine and a few spits of rain.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

I saw that too, my family always come to us at Christmas, but one is in England and one is in Wales, so I won't hold out much hope, It certainly wont be the same. After all the social distancing ,wearing masks, and sticking to the rules that most of us have done...it doesn't seem to have made much difference, and just to put the icing on the cake, I heard on telly this morning that turkey's are going to be in short supply this Christmas.....

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning Ladies, Pelting with rain here again....sigh. This must be the wettest summer for a long time, never spent so much time indoors at this time of the year. Heading over to the huge Tesco at Wick shortly, the family is due to arrive tomorrow for a long W/E. We're doing this before Nicola brings in this five tier thing on Nov 2nd, there may be travel restrictions so we're doing it while we still can, and sorting Christmas Presents ect. Will have a big early Christmas Dinner, but with Roast Beef, not Turkey on Sunday.
May, hope your well, not seen you around for a wee while.
