Good Morning Sunday

Not slept a wink all night, its been a long night. I'm going to be tired today.

Done a load of bulk cooking for dad, shepherds pies with veg, corned beef hash, butternut squash, sweet potato and bacon soup so I'll be taking them up this morning for his freezer, also be taking his Sunday roast up for him. He always looks forward to his roast dinners.

Nothing planned except for watching the insides of my eyelids this afternoon no doubt. I suspect I'll be hitting the zeds after a sleepless night. Dont you just hate not bring able yo sleep.

Have a good day all

Re: Good Morning Sunday

Good morning everyone heavy showers and rainbows here.

I hate it when the clocks change, dogs have their own inbuilt clocks and don't like change. Chloe was sitting growling at the top of the stairs at 5am expecting her 6 o'clock breakfast then her walk so I got up as usual.

Off to my sons house shortly, I was hoping it was fine enough for a walk with the children but that looks doubtful now so another morning of social distancing on the veranda while everyone talks to me through the open patio doors. Soon it will be too cold to stand outside.

Enjoy your day

Good Morning all,

Lunch - prepared
Dinner - prepared
Breakfast - eaten!

I am off to the Craft Room to play - have a couple of birthday cards to make for Nov, and a couple of Halloween cards to make to cheer up some friends who are fed up of C19 restrictions - they normally decorate the house and garden and invite all the neighbours round but, of course, they cannot do it this year.

Have a happy day

Good morning all sunny at the moment but showers forecast throughout the day.

I have the washing out on the line hoping to dodge any showers, keeping my fingers crossed

Enjoy your day and stay safe...

Re: Good Morning Sunday

It has been hell! 45mm of rain overnight then it rained most of the day and freezing cold, I had to dig out a jumper it only got up to 15°. Hot water bottle tonight I can tell you.

Only 15° tonight and again tomorrow no variation in temperature at all for next 24 hours warms up a bit later in the week. Spring?? Pah!

Hope you fare better.

Good morning all.

I am not ashamed to say I had a lovely long lie in this morning, and feel so much better for it too. Even my furry friends all slept blissfully on.

I need to finish altering all my clocks now, else I shall be thinking it's later than it is all day.

Lovely blue sky and sunshine, after that awful relentless wind and rain yesterday.

Have a good day folks.

Re: Good Morning Sunday

Good afternoon everybody.

I spent the morning doing some ironing & having a workout in my gym. I could only manage half an hour but trying to build my strength up.

After that had a nice long leisurely chat with my sister in law who has become a grandmother for the second time to a littler girl called Belle - A sister for 2 year old Luca.

This afternoon I want to sort some cupboards out & Tonys got the job of cleaning all the UPVC doors & windows outside.
After he's done all that I hope he'll be too tired to bother about going for a walk. He keeps asking me to break my isolation to go a walk with him but I refuse.

My family are continuing to recover from covid19 I'm pleased to say.

Sorry about your sleepless night Queenie. I have them sometimes - I don't sleep a single wink.

I suffer from insomnia something terrible & only get a good sleep if I take a pill - usually a nytol or a piriton

Have a good day all.
