As a tanker man, from many moons ago, I don't believe that they got in through the Rudder trunk. I think that they would have to have swum under water, close to the props, to do that.

If you told me that they had been aboard when it last left port, I could believe that one.

But for anyone approaching, from the rear, in the wash, it would be lethal.

Oh! and think of how fast the swimmer would have to be to approach the moving vessel from the rear (8-10 knots).

Apparently, the ship has been stormed by the SBS and six 'alleged' hi-jackers/pirates arrested. They are thought to be stowaways who took over the ship and speculation is that one of the crew members was paid to get them on the ship.

I can see the lawyers lining the dock now hoping to get paid from the pirates to prevent them from being deported.

What I find strange is how these people were able to stay on that tanker for 3 weeks without being discovered?

I sincerely hope they are not allowed to stay as those plane hijackers were years ago. If they are, it will be as good as giving carte blanche to others to do the same regardless of the crime committed.
