Re: Thunderstorms

Hi

Here we go again.

Loud thunder, according to the Radar the storm is 6 miles away and level with me.

A lot more to come though.

Hopefully we will miss it tonight.

Re: Thunderstorms

Had a right humdinger last night and the lightning was something else .... quite spectacular, from about 11 till 1 ... I watched it eating strawberries and ice cream.

Looking at the lightning map, it's all starting to kick off again now.

Re: Thunderstorms

Wish we had one up here to clear the air a bit too hot and muggy for my liking.

Re: Thunderstorms

Strange colour clouds are gathering overhead, not a rumble to be heard but I'm sure something is building up....

Funny that. Quite unusual for a thunderstorm to be seen eating strawberries and ice cream.

Re: Thunderstorms

Looking at the map - Birmingham is having a pasting again and Liverpool. Nothing here so far but can tell by the air pressure it is on it's way!

I loathe lightning. Have had three too close for comfort encounters with it in the past - don't want any more!

Thanks, Mups.
That's a good one. It shows the lightning strikes clearly and, if you zoom in, you can see the sound wave of each travelling quite a long way. In fact, it's surprising how far the sound travels before it disappears.

There a lot of activity in the West, but nothing round our way yet.
