R.I.P Gough Whitlam, he did some good things for Australia.

Hear, Hear. He was the one that paved the way for other men of stature (like Paul Keating) to really change Australia for the better.

He achieved:

Universal Health Care
Free Education for all
Land rights
Stopped Conscription
No fault divorces
Support for the arts
Anti Discrimination Act
Got Australia out of Vietnam
Opened dialogue with China

Yet he was only in power for three years
