My other half is on a ridiculous amount of meds. The way I deal with it is by having 14 small containers (like the little plastic tubs that 35mm film used to come in) half labelled AM and half PM. That way I can prepare a week's worth of meds at a time.
After that the only issue is remembering every three days to change her morphine patches.
I did this when my mom was on a lot of heavy duty stuff - didn't want her getting confused, it worked well.
I bought my dad one last week. It's a spring loaded, 7 day x 4 meds a day. He wouldn't know what pills to take himself, so it reassures me when I fill it up. Next step would be a dossett box.
What on earth is a 'dossett box' ? Well, someone had to ask!
My Dad had to take so many of them each morning, all shapes and colours, to make sure he didn't miss out on taking one he always buttered two slices of bread and put the lot inside to make a sandwich, problem solved.
