I've got four of the fabric bags that fold down to fit in a little pouch ... about £1 each ... and they are in my handbag all the time so never need a plastic bag

I either have to walk home or get the bus when I go shopping so I'm careful that what I buy isn't too heavy to carry ... but when I do need heavy things I ask my daughter to pick me up ... but not too often !
