I never liked Trad Jazz much, but you couldn't fault Acker Bilk's amazing Clarinet playing. He had such wonderful tone, phrasing and fluidity. He was up there with the greats like Benny Goodman.

I remember Strangers on the Shore very well. I think I did get fed up
of hearing it though after nearly a year in the charts
Great artist though so you cant fault him there. RIP Acker.
